Furniture indents on the carpet, best way to get rid of them?

We're selling our house and I was just wondering, what's the best way to lift the carpet back up a bit where furniture has been sitting for a long period of time?
Thanks!

Answer:
Moisture and Fluffing!

Use a steam iron (don't touch the iron to the rug, it may melt, just get the steam in there) or a mister/ sprayer.

Vacuum to pull the fibers back upright.

Use the edge of a kitchen spoon to rub the fibers back and forth - switching directions as you go.

Mist, Rub, Vacuum, Mist, Vacuum, Rub -- any order.
