What kind of furniture should I get if I own a dog?
The couch and love seat I have now is like cloth material. My dogs nails put snags in the cushions and makes it look horrible. His smell also absorbs into the material really easily and it's starting to stink. Next tax season I'm getting a new couch set. What kind of material should I choose when picking out a couch, since I have a dog?

I have a microfiber couch and it seems to do fine with the dog even though he is quite hairy. My mom has leather couches and the dogs' nails (she has three medium sized dogs) don't seem to be a problem. You can purchase a couch with crylon fabric that has been specially made to resist stains and odors.
Also, get your dog his own bed. Petco has a great selection.
