Is there a product on the market that keeps animals from using the bathroom on furniture?

We have a dog that loves to urniate on our couches. Is there a spray product on the market that prevents this?

Answer:
Hi there...generally when there's inappropriately soiling occuring it could be representative of an underlying medical problem such as a urinary tract infection if they have been spayed/neutered.

Spray deterrents usually encourages dogs to mark over them since they believe it already smells bad and/or it doesn't smell like theirs. It's similar to when you notice dogs who walk outdoors marking stumps, trees, hydrants, etc after other dogs who already urinated on these.

Consider ringing your veterinarian to determine if your dog needs to come in and be evaluated and treated respectively.
